Hey Pedro’s Army! Hopefully you’re all now aware of the Audio book being made for the 6th month Anniversary of Learning To Dance’s epilogue and are preparing to audition for one (or many) of the roles.

I have LTD on my Kindle, and it is truly beautiful. But dead god dammit, it is making me cry! Why do that to Pedro? I mean I understand why, but yeah :/ its worse than what Stephen Moffat did to Donna Noble. (DW reference :) ) Anyways, just wanted to say thank you for your fabulous creation and keep writing :) btw, have you considered entering NaNoWrimo?

I have done NaNoWriMo in the past, and this year I did complete a novella during the challenge (though it didn’t reach the goal of 50 000)! I have three different novel drafts to tackle, revise, and make readable over the next couple of months. I do hope at some point to be able to publish some of my original work!

I recently started reading the Starship fan fiction, Learning to Dance. Today I went to NYC with my family, and before I left I copied and pasted chapters 17-21 into my iPod notes so I could read it on the train...this was a big mistake. I wont spoil for what happens, but something very sad happens at the end of Chapter 21. So here I was on a train in public, crying my eyes out because of things that happened in this chapter.

Hey Pedro's Army!

Can you believe it’s been almost 6 months since Karri posted the epilogue? Yes that’s right everyone, on the 22nd of January 2012 the original epilogue will officially be 6 months old! I think that’s worth celebrating don’t you?

So I have an idea… together, in order to commemorate this anniversary, we’re going to create the very first Learning To Dance audio book staring Pedro’s Army!

That’s right, over the next 7 days (So until the 5th of January) I’m going to allow everyone in the PA to send in their auditions for the roles they’d like to voice- you can audition for as many roles as you want and the only requirement is that you use lines from Learning To Dance. Auditions close midnight (EST) on the 6th of January- then I will watch all the entries and put up a cast list (this will include 1-3 narrators).

Auditions can be submitted by reblogging this post with a link to your audition- you can also leave me the link in my ask box

I wish you all the best of luck- let’s make this audio book as totally awesome as possible!

Any questions/queries/problems/concerns should also be directed to my ask box- I’ll be happy to help in any way I can!

“Hey, buddy, I’m just trying to help,” Tripp said, raising his hands in defense as they broke apart, breathing heavily. “You’re unattached, you’re tense, you’ve got a lot on your plate - I just thought-“

“You thought wrong,” Up said simply, swinging a towel around his bare shoulders. “Besides, what’s stopping you? You’re unattached and tense, as you put it. Why don’t you give Lieutenant Andrews a try?”

“You know why,” Tripp said quietly, and Up’s face grew just the tiniest bit softer.
