June 2012
Gosh I do hope I can live up to your expectations… :) I’m terribly excited too, I must say!
(And yes, hectic - I’m moving back to Canada in 5 days!!! Ahhhhh)
Thank you so much - I hope you like SPB as well! <3
If you have seen Starship and not read Learning to Dance and/or are human and have never eaten Lucky Charms, you need to evalulate your life choices.
I enjoy being equated with something as amazing as Lucky Charms.
Ahhhhhhh this makes me happy beyond belief! Thank you so much for your support! <3

Thank you so much! I am so grateful for all that’s come of the past year, I really am. <3
This is strictly because Tumblr is currently working on fixing the problem that some of you noticed earlier - the notes on this and many other posts like it are “broken,” or at the very least not displaying properly. There are many others trying to do giveaways having the exact same problem at the moment - I will keep a close eye on the situation and keep you informed. My apologies for the delay, and if there’s no change within the week, I will see if I can figure out another creative way to recapture all those entries!
Thanks for your understanding, lovelies.

I am thrilled to finally be able to announce the upcoming publication of The Con, a novella for YA readers! The Con will be available in September 2012 in both print and ebook formats at all major online book retailers. Read on for your first glimpse of what The Con is all about, and look out for the cover release, book trailer, and an exclusive excerpt coming soon!

The first thing that Ren Coffey needs you to know is that she is nobody’s fangirl.
She agreed to play with wizard rock band Neville’s Toad at their crazy geek conference only because her cousin Whitney begged her to – and for the free trip to Florida. So when a chance encounter with wrocker-turned-movie star Teddy Hudson leads to an unusual proposal to help him stave off the more fervent of his rabid fans, she figures she can handle his supposed charm. What she doesn’t expect to find is how much she and Teddy actually have in common – and just how much their charade could cost her before it’s done.
Set in the unconventional world of fan conventions, The Con is a novella about music, friendship, and finding the courage to geek out to your heart’s content.

This honestly would not be happening if not for the love and support you’ve shown me here on Tumblr over the past year and a bit. I owe you everything, and I hope you’ll like this new story [almost] as much as you liked Learning to Dance.
Check out my new website and if you like, sign up to be the first to know big news about upcoming book releases and giveaways here.
Look for The Con in September 2012!
It’s that time! Best of luck to everyone who entered. The randomly chosen winners will be notified within the next 24 hours, so keep your ask boxes open! Thank you to all!
And stay tuned, because I’m about to tell you about my Almost Secret Project… which shall be secret no more!
Reasons why we love him - and none of them involve Glee!
Your last chance to enter the LtD Giveaway! Thank you for all the support you’ve shown over the past three weeks - and good luck to all who’ve entered!
Bent is a project of mine that I have been working on for a little while. It’s too soon to reveal much more than that, but I will be telling you about another project later today (which I am very excited about)!
Anon, that sounds like fun, and if I was writing fanfic right now I would tackle it. Unfortunately it will probably be a while (and I owe it to a few people to get back to TRatD first…)
I’m sorry! <3
I don’t think it would be impossible! Not if you have a really good imagination… :)
I suppose that having some experience in the area might help, but by no means is that me telling you to go out and kiss someone as a writing exercise…
Something else to try might be emulating the best kiss scenes you’ve ever read - the ones that really got to you. Without copying, but trying to catch the mood, etc! Good luck!
I’M SORRY… I THINK.
