First it was Ask Alejandro.
Now there’s Ask Pedro Herrera.
What (or who) next?
[Note: I don’t run these blogs, so they can’t be claimed as LtD canon, but I do find them highly entertaining (and rather accurate) - so many thanks go to the lovelies behind them - you know who you are!]

This is what happens when I get a notebook in my hands at 4:30 in the morning. This missing scene would take place in the middle of LtD Chapter 6. For Pedro’s Army. <3
***
Cadet Pedro Herrera settled back onto his brand-new bunk, listening to the eager banter of his new classmates, smiling to himself as he placed two pictures carefully on the small shelf next to his bed - a family portrait, taken only a few weeks ago at his sister’s quinceañera, and his brother Luis in a military pose, six years out of date and yet as recent as it was going to get. Nothing could get him down today. He was finally here at the Academy - he was finally going to make his family proud.
The door of the bunkroom banged open suddenly, and a girl stormed in, a tiny thing with a long black braid and barely contained fury on her face.
“Soy tu oficial superior ahora,” she was muttering. “Las cosas van a ser un poco diferente aquí. De todos los estúpidos-”
“Bueno hola,” Pedro said brightly, interrupting her tirade. “¿Eres de México?”
She stopped, and looked up at him. “Si,” she said warily.
“Well, that makes two of us,” he said in English, grinning down at her. “Pedro Herrera. Nice to meet you…” He waited expectantly.
“Taz,” she said, and threw her jacket onto the bunk beneath his, the only one not yet taken.
“That’s it? Taz?”
“Si. That’s it.”
Well, she was a frigid one. “So who’s this superior officer you’re on the rampage about? Got a boyfriend in the League?”
“Maybe I do,” she said, tossing the braid over her shoulder. “And maybe he’ll kick your ass if you try anything funny, Pedro Herrera.”
Pedro laughed. “As if I would! You think a lot of yourself, don’t you, princess?”
She put her hands on her hips and glared at him, and it was then that Pedro was struck by how pretty she actually was, the colour in her cheeks, the dangerous flash in her eyes.
“Forget the boyfriend,” she said. “I’ll kick your ass myself.”
He looked at her skeptically, but she raised her chin and he had to wonder if she meant it.
“Just stay out of my way,” she spat, and disappeared into the bunk beneath him.
“Nice to meet you, too,” he muttered. Well, she was going to be a lot of fun to be around.
But for some reason he couldn’t get her out of his brain. Long after the lights went out and the cadets had finally dropped off to sleep, he lay awake, listening to the sound of a dozen dreamers breathing, wondering which breath was hers, wondering what she might be dreaming about.
He didn’t know that she was lying awake too.

I’m having fun with these even if they’re 4am garbage. Are there any other missing scenes/moments from LtD you’d like to see?
Remember when Pedro was a jerk?
I still loved him.
How do you manage to make this look so cute when he really was being a jerk?
Oh wait it’s that boys-make-fun-of-girls-they-like thing, isn’t it?
I really love this illustration. (The scene is from Chapter 7.)
“Why are you so cruel to me, Taz?”
I think you just like drawing Pedro in his underwear. :P
KIDDING EVERYONE - This is more awesome LTD art by calculus-was-tough, from the infamous chapter 16.
REPRESENT.
I am such a fan of you!!!

This is what happens when LTD is on hiatus and I have no choice but to reread it…again.
Dear Me:Please stop rereading LTD. No matter how many times you read it, it’s not going to change the fact that Pedro died.
Hugs and Butterfly Kisses:
Me
Sorry for the crappy doodle. If you couldn’t tell, it’s the scene where Pedro pushes her out of the way and puts the force field between them.I ship Pez so much.
*squeal* LTD art makes me so happy! It’s lovely, dear! :)
(This scene was so hard for me to write. I kinda ship Pez too!)
Up may not enjoy Flirty Tequila Taz, but Pedro certainly does.
Hahahahahahahahaha
I didn’t write this scene!
You’re a sneaky one.
Chapters 1-14 can be found here. Much thanks as always for reading! <3

A dozen starship commanders stood silently around the strategy table, surveying countless blueprints, grasping for some key element there they hadn’t yet seen, coming up blank. It was a lull in the heated discussions that had been taking place since they’d arrived at the secret Mexican bunker. The bunker had been set up expressly for this purpose, a place to meet in the event of a disaster like this, its coordinates hidden deep within G.L.E.E. codes to prevent any spies getting a hold of them. Most of the starships that had been within the solar system had made it back to Earth within hours – the Cazadora among them – and now their captains were faced with the task of finding a way to win the very heart of the Galactic League back from their robot enemies.
They were leaderless, and that was a problem. Tripp and the other Rear and Vice Admirals were trapped within the robot-held Headquarters, and there had been no further contact with them after Tripp’s initial message to Up. Every commander had his own ideas about their situation, but none of them actually seemed to stand a chance of working.
“Headquarters has the highest security known to man,” said Commander Li, breaking the silence. She was Up’s former commanding officer – before he had been assigned to the Eagle, back when they’d still been actively skirmishing with robots here on Earth - and the most senior officer there. She was also the only female in the room. “It’s going to be damn near impossible to get in.”
“The robots did,” said Up, for what felt like the hundredth time. “We just need to figure out how.”
