My love letter to Team Starkid.
Reasons why we love him - and none of them involve Glee!
Can you link me to some great examples of why we all love DCriss? I mean photos, favourite tweets of his, videos, music, interviews, little moments that demonstrate his general awesomeness, down-to-earthiness, etc… or if you don’t have a link, do you remember seeing/reading/hearing something that was the reason/reminded you of why you became a Darren fangirl/boy in the first place?
I thank you very sincerely, you’ll be doing me a big favour by sharing!
OBLIGATORY QUESTION MARK——> ?
Hope they make a real announcement soon!
(For the record, I love you all dearly but Learning to Dance is merely a work of fanfiction - I am very excited to hear where they went with this Starship “sequel,” though!)
“Up, you and me-” she burst, and then looked down at the floor. “It’s always been you and me, right?”
Yes, it’s here!
Go here to download your very own, free copy of this special illustrated edition ebook of Learning to Dance.
Learning to Dance is a sci-fi romance of adventurous proportions, telling the unofficial story of Taz and Up from Team Starkid’s musical production Starship.
This first-ever PDF ebook edition is newly polished and edited, beautifully illustrated by Kendyll Romine, and available completely free! Here’s what you can expect:
Thank you to Kendyll (also known in Tumblrland as Ree) for all of the hard work and flawless talent she has put in to this project in such a short time. This girl is incredible – I owe her so much.
And a sincere thank you to everyone who has asked about the possibility of an ebook, expressed their excitement over it, entered the contest, and supported me and my little story throughout this whole crazy experience. Without you none of this would have happened.
Thank you for everything – Merry Christmas – and enjoy!
Twelve Days of Learning to Dance - Day 8 Challenge
In which Karri learns a Starkid song in about five minutes - damn you Darren for writing such musically challenging songs!
Thanks to everyone who’s entered the Day 7 contest. Your results, yes I swear, for Days 5-7 are coming soon (Josh is judging as I type)!
Today’s challenge is a musical one - your job is to perform a Starkid song of your choice from any musical - it’s not just limited to Starship. You can sing, play an instrument, or both, and submit your entry as a video or audio clip. Good luck!
