Hello loveys!

Just wanted to let you know that it’s looking like the ebook version of Stars Passing By is a go… I read through the original and was surprised to find I liked it a lot more than I thought I did. :)

I’ll get to work on a few quick edits and maybe a bonus scene or two over the next couple weeks before I put the ebook version together… thanks everyone for your feedback and encouragement! (I love that there’s still love out there for this story!)

PS - I haven’t been online much lately because SURPRISE we’re moving! So there is much packing to be done… babies to be taken care of… etc. Sorry my queue is so very Supernatural these days… that wasn’t on purpose… I swear.

Just wanted to do a quick survey - would a downloadable, ebook version of Stars Passing By (the between-chapter-8-and-9 story of Tripp and Rosie) be of interest to you? It wouldn’t be very difficult to do some quick revisions, edit, and format the story for various ebook readers, but I thought I’d check to see if the interest was there (since it’s been so long since the story was first published)!

This fanfic was written for Emma, who was one of the winners of my Christmas giveaway for The Con. She said angst was okay, so… major angst ahead, beware!

I should note that this story was conceived and drafted back when I had a different idea about how things might go for Dean and Cas, and back before we knew much about the trials. So this takes place in a vague future where Cas is yes, still an angel, Sam is completing the heavenly trials, and Dean hasn’t yet figured out how to put “I need you” into words.

Dean has seen a lot of shit in his days. Been around the block you know, did his time–in Hell, in Purgatory, even in Heaven. Killed, maimed, tortured. Tasted his share of blood and guts. Stopped the Apocalypse, even.

Dean also liked to think that he knew angels. Feathered bastards had gotten themselves so tangled up in his business that he was pretty sure he knew every trick, every motivation, every bit of mojo they had up their billowy sleeves. And of course, there was Cas.
